GEMINI

Gemini Image Metadata Cleaner

Clean ordinary file metadata before publishing a Gemini image.

What can be cleaned from a Gemini image?

The tool checks readable EXIF, XMP, C2PA and AI-related file signals in JPEG, PNG and WebP images.

Cleanup re-encodes the image and scans the new copy again. This is separate from invisible marks that can exist at the pixel level.

Why inspect a Gemini image instead of guessing?

Embedded data can vary depending on how an image was downloaded, converted or processed. Each file should therefore be treated as its own case and inspected directly.

That distinction matters when separating file metadata such as EXIF and XMP from technologies that may operate at the pixel level.

What does a cleaned Gemini copy target?

  • Ordinary EXIF, Software and unnecessary metadata fields.
  • Readable XMP in the file.
  • C2PA/JUMBF signals recognized by the scanner.
  • Metadata containers that are not carried into the rebuilt output.

What cleanup does not imply

  • It does not prove SynthID or another pixel-level mark has been removed.
  • No metadata finding does not prove AI was not involved.
  • It cannot guarantee how an external platform treats the image after upload.

How do you know cleanup worked?

After the new copy is created, the tool scans again and shows the new size, format and remaining readable signals.
