What does the metadata cleaner remove?
Images can carry information that is invisible to viewers, including camera details, editing software, capture time and GPS coordinates. The tool shows readable fields before cleanup.
When you clean the image, the browser re-encodes visible pixels into a new file instead of copying ordinary metadata containers. The result is scanned again and compared with the source.
This targets file metadata. Invisible pixel-level watermarking systems are a separate layer from EXIF and XMP.
How do you know cleanup worked?
