What information can an image contain?
Phone and camera photos can contain EXIF fields such as device model, capture date and exposure settings. GPS coordinates can also be present when location tagging was enabled.
Editing software can write XMP, Software or Creator fields. Generative editing workflows can also add C2PA or Content Credentials signals.
Inspection lets you see readable file-level data before deciding whether to keep it or create a cleaned copy.
How do you know cleanup worked?
After the new copy is created, the tool scans again and shows the new size, format and remaining readable signals.

Yes, when readable GPS coordinates exist in the file, the viewer displays them.
Does inspection modify the image?
No. Inspection reads the file. Cleanup only happens when you request a new cleaned copy.
