WebP Metadata Remover
A WebP file can still carry metadata alongside the image data.
WebP can carry EXIF, XMP and other information inside its container. MediaClean checks readable fields and creates a new copy without carrying ordinary removable metadata forward.
Can WebP contain metadata?
Yes. WebP files can include EXIF or XMP alongside image data, so converting an image to WebP does not automatically mean the file has no metadata.
The scan shows readable fields and recognizable signals. Cleanup creates a new copy and scans that output again.
When transparency is present, the output workflow attempts to preserve a format that supports it instead of blindly converting the image to JPEG.
How do you know cleanup worked?
After the new copy is created, the tool scans again and shows the new size, format and remaining readable signals.

No. Metadata depends on the source file and export path.
