File inspection is different from visual AI detection
An image can carry explicit metadata even when nothing visible reveals it. This checker starts with the file structure rather than guessing from appearance.
It looks for readable EXIF, XMP, C2PA and other file signals. Their presence can tell you something about the file, but does not by itself prove the complete creation history.
Invisible pixel watermarks and visual classifiers are separate layers and are not represented as a confidence score here.
How do you know cleanup worked?
After the new copy is created, the tool scans again and shows the new size, format and remaining readable signals.
