What does MediaClean inspect in a Firefly image?

This page focuses on provenance-related signals such as C2PA and Content Credentials, alongside readable XMP and EXIF fields.

After inspection you can create a new copy and scan the result again, giving you a concrete before-and-after view of the file.

MediaClean does not control Adobe or destination-platform policies and does not promise how an external label will be displayed.

After the new copy is created, the tool scans again and shows the new size, format and remaining readable signals.

Is this full cryptographic C2PA verification?

No. The current release focuses on practical file-level signals and metadata.

Is the original changed?

No. Cleanup creates a separate copy.
